Site Updates >> Name Reivision, and site direction
I have some anouncments to make on some upcoming updates.
All this is to help the site continue to grow, while honoring Michael at the same time! Don't think we're forgetting about him!
MJHQ is going to be focused on music in General as a topic, which includes all Artists, and all music.
MJ will stay the icon, and theme of the site. he's the king of music/entertainment , and we'll honor him as that.
MJ will stay in the MJHQ logo.
Site Name Change:
The name of the site is changing from "Michael Jackson Headquarters" to "Music Junkie Headquarters".Updated Logo:
I wanted to keep the the MJHQ logo as it is since i think it looks really nice, however i did update it a bit, but kept MJ in it since he is the king.
so it really just looks the same:

MJHQ as a MJ tribute site:
Some thought that we should keep the site as is, and as a tribute site for Michael. I thought about this for a while, and decided not to do that. I think MJ would want the site to grow, and continue developing. There is no way for that to happen as a tribute site. It'd eventually get old, and die and fade away.
Michael Jackson will stay the main artist we focus on on this site. He'll be forever the main item here at MJHQ, and always recognized as the king. Existing MJHQ members, please view this as a way to help the site grow, and help introduce MJ to new members who may not have given MJ a chance before. Everyone deserves to hear is amazingly beautiful, outstanding, brilliant music.
I hope you all understand these changes, help the site continue by submitting your ideas, and continuing to be a member of MJHQ.te style and theme:
At first i wanted to keep the black n gold, since its a trademark of the site, and of MJ, We still may do this, but also i am thinking about experimenting with other colors, that may help the site as well.
I am also updating the main site. I made the new site look about the same as the older, just much wider so i'll be able to publish more content onto it.
Feel free to reply to this topic with your suggestions, and artists that we should feature. The forum will be updated soon with a new forum/topic layout to help encourage discussion on all music.
I also need to create a staff team here that will consist of writers/ forum moderators/ web designers, and other types of professions. Contact me if you wish to volunteer and contribute your skills.
